Ronny Medawar, owner of Medawar Jewelers, wants you to feel comfortable in his store. “The biggest misconception we face is that we look too expensive. But in reality, we’re not,” said Medawar. Medawar Jewelers doesn’t cater to one type of demographic. “We have something for everyone’s style and budget.”

The Medawar family of jewelers began in 1920 when Ronny’s grandfather opened a small watch and clock shop. His grandfather then taught his father the trade, who would later expand the business to include jewelry repair and sales and pass this on to Ronny. “My father would sit with me like his father sat with him teach me about watches and business. But the lessons were more than just technical; I learned the importance of treating customers well and becoming someone they could trust with their precious heirlooms.”

Moving forward without forgetting the lessons of the past is important to Ronny. “I can’t forget what made us what we are. Superior customer service, quality products and reasonable prices. That’s what you will find every time you walk into Medawar Jewelers.”

The store’s website ( www.Medawars.com ) is currently being redesigned to capture the feel of the store and allow customers to browse jewelry online and save what they like to a wish list.

This summer, Medawar Jewelers is having a Summer Spectacular Sale that will run from June 20 through September 3.

“Our store motto is ‘quality jewelry for less…everyday’. We don’t inflate prices just to slash them and claim to have a great sale going on. When our jewelry is on sale, it’s truly on sale,” said Medawar.

Medawar Jewelers is a Direct Diamond Importer and gets their diamonds straight from the cutter, which allows them greater control over the quality and pricing of diamonds. Medawar Jewelers also offers diamond and gemstone jewelry, an in-house jeweler for custom design and repair work and specializes in watch and clock repair. House calls, a rarity in today’s world, are available for grandfather clock service.
