Medawar Jewelers specializes in expert jewelry repair.  We have master jewelers with over 50 years of experience on staff and in house.  Repair work is done in house at our showroom on Linden Road, so you can rest easy knowing your precious piece is not being shipped to a factory across the country.   And while it’s here, all jewelry left in our possession is insured and locked in our safe every night.  Our goal is not only to return your piece better than new, but also to inspire your trust and confidence in our work and us.

Whether it’s a simple ring sizing or resetting a diamond, we take great pride in caring for each piece as if it were our own and provide only the highest quality service and repair.

Like our jewelry repair, watch and clock repair work is done IN HOUSE at the showroom on Linden Road.  Our Swiss Certified time specialists will do more than just work on your watch or clock in house – they’ll come to your house.  Medawar Jewelers provides house calls by appointment to service grandfather clocks for repair or maintenance.  A warranty is offered on most services for watch and clock repair, one more way to ensure peace of mind for you.

Appraisals

Medawar Jewelers offers expert professional appraisals for insurance purposes.  Stones are measured and graded and the jewelry is weighed.  A final cleaning is done before returning your piece to you.  The appraisal is completed when a retail replacement price has been determined.  All appraisal information is put in writing and you will receive two (2) copies of the appraisal.  One for your personal records and one for your insurance company.  We’ll even fax it right to the insurance company if you’re in a pinch and need a new piece insured right away!

The fees for appraisal services start at $45 for the first piece and vary for each additional piece.  Please  contact us  for details.

Financing

Medawar Jewelers offers a variety financing options.  Layaway is available for 90 days with a 20% deposit.  You can also apply for a Medawar Jewelers credit card by Jewelry Accents where qualifying purchases can receive 90 days (or more!) same as cash!*

Upgrade Program

Ready for a larger center stone?  If you purchased your diamond from Medawar Jewelers, you can trade it for something bigger!**  We’ll even trade in your diamond earrings.  We’ll credit you what originally paid and you only pay the difference for the bigger diamond(s)!
