Medawar's Return, Layaway, and Special-Order Policies

Return Policy:

• Medawar's offers exchanges or store credit for merchandise returned within 30 days of purchase.

• Returned items must be unworn, unaltered, and in the same condition as received.

• Items on special sale*, special orders, or that have been altered are excluded from returns.

• Fine Swiss Timepieces are final sale and cannot be exchanged or returned.

Merchandise Warranty & Repair:

• Medawar's guarantees against manufacturing defects in our jewelry.

• We recommend biannual inspections of jewelry by our staff.

• Repairs due to regular wear may incur charges.

• All repairs are done in-house and come with a warranty ranging from six months to one year.

Layaways:

• Layaways require a 20% deposit and are valid for 90 days.

• Layaways are non-returnable but can be exchanged for items of equal or greater value unless altered.

• Extensions on layaways beyond 90 days need managerial approval.

• Unsettled layaways after 90 days will be canceled, and the item returned to stock. A gift card, minus a 20% restocking fee, may be issued upon request.

Special Orders:

• Special orders require a 50% deposit.

• They are non-refundable and non-exchangeable unless otherwise specified.

• Additional shipping fees may apply and will be determined at the point of sale.

Custom Designs:

• Custom designs require a 50% deposit and are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

• Customers must approve wax molds before casting.

• Delivery typically takes four to six weeks.

• If the process is halted post-wax mold, a fee of 25% of the estimated cost is charged, with the remaining balance provided as store credit.
